Re: Ur-Q collectability
>The day the Ur-q becomes a collectible is the day I win the Tour
Well, congrats Greg Lemonde, spandex suits you! UrQs already are
collectible, as they reside in museums, collections as well as a few
garages.
>Reason #1 There were just too many of them brought into the country.
Poor reasoning here, lots of others Marques and models imported in far
higher numbers are also collectible.
>#2 There is zero market for a early-80's AWD car produced 162 hp.
Zero market would imply no transactions, simply not the case
>Remember, we are not talking about a mid-60's Hemi Cuda, 427
alum. block Camero [sic]or 427 split-window Vette.
Above examples nullify #'s argument, not to mention no BB option for 63
split window Vette.
>Would I like to own an Ur-Q. . .sure but not at the price of admission
that some people think they are worth.
Asking price is exactly that, though given the performance for the $'s,
I don't think very low double digit thousands for a nice one is
outrageous.
My $.02
Mike
