UPDATE: Monterey Historic Races

... I finally remembered to bring in the stuff I got on this ...

The event is scheduled for August 14-16.  As stated before, the featured
marque is Porsche.  They note that this is the 25th anniversary of the
historic races at Monterey and the 50th anniversary for Porsche.  Ticket
prices are $25 Friday, $35 Saturday and $30 Sunday (with the latter two
being discounted $5 based on advance purchase).  There are also $60 Sat/Sun
and $75 Fri/Sat/Sun tickets available in advance.  I've gotten a handful of
responses so far ... nowhere near enough to qualify for a paddock (35), but
we still have a while to go.  It looks like we could set a deadline of the
end of June ... if we qualified for a corral I'd need to send in a single
check for all the tickets if we did qualify.  If we end up not having enough
for a corral at that time, there's still plenty of time to get the
discounted price for admission.

let me know if you'd like to have your name added (or taken off) and I'll do
