urq fuel pump dying?

Sorry if this is in the archives but I couldn't find it (I don't think the
search engine likes me). My urq is hard starting and has low power above 3k
rpm and the fuel pump is making strange and hideous noises. Is it possible
that it could be anything else? Also, are the pumps in the 4kq the same as the
urq, I have an extra one I'm hoping I can use.
