Upgraded to '87 5kcsqw for $1000.

Hi all,

Last Sunday I sold my '86 5kcst 5-speed for $3,000. Made up an ad with a
picture and gave it to my audi mechanic. He posted it and it sold last
Sunday, the same day I went and got my '87 5kcstqw for $4,000. Great
deal for everyone since the guy who got mine got out of a '85 Honda
civic and needed a challenge.
My wife loves to drive the wagon now. She'd rather drive it than her '95
90csq 5-speed.
The wagon has a ton of miles (224,000) but was babied by a Audifile who
got himself a '91 200qw.
Question: He is upgrading shocks on his '91. He'll give me the ones off
of his if they fit. They have 70,000 miles on them. Is it worth it or do
they even fit? The ones on my "new" wagon are shot.

Thanks,
Rod Michaelson
