Ditto that.  A pound or two of additional unsprung weight is going to have
minimal impact when you already have 70+ lbs. of unsprung weight at each corner
between the wheel, strut, strut husing/hub, brakes, etc.

Something else to consider is that many times, the bottom and top spring perches
are different, so it's not possible to reverse the mounting position of the
spring.
