There are other chip importers, but to look at the A4.org site, you
wouldnt know it! 

I bought my mtm chip from Hoppen last October and save for some pinging
problems, I love the new-found horsepower. Really transforms the car to
'sport sedan' levels.

AMS, TAP, Neuspeed, and others have modified chips with varying
policies.

Day to day driving, I would guess it would take a real 'Princess' to
find the 'pea' between the different mod-chips. What it boils down to is
customer service and personal preference.
