antenna woes revisited

Alleuro has this antenna:
200.035.509     POWER ANTENNA, HIRSCHMAN MODEL 2030

for those that don't remember (or would rather forget...) my current
antenna has a bum connector that connects the antenna output to the long
lead that goes up to the head unit.

this is a strange coax-like thing that has a double-sleeve to it (or
something of the sort).  Now, the lead is pretty much severed at the
connector's base.

I called alleuro and asked if this new antenna has a lead and he replied
that it did, but he didn't know how long.

so, q-listers, how do these antennas usually come?  I'm figuring that the
right one for me is gonna have the antenna body/mast and the whole lead
all the way up to the head unit.  then, I'll have to tear apart the car
and re-route the antenna wire somehow... oh boy, fun.
