I noticed for my 1988 90q when I was examining the schematics in the Bentley
to see how to force recirculation, that it should work when the AC and
RECIRC buttons are pushed, independent of whether the outside temperature
sensor will allow the compressor to run.  Unfortunately, I neglected to test
this during suitably cold weather.  You might test this yourself when
conditions warrant.
