Re: snaek preview of Audi TT
To: quattro
I don't know about you guys, and I realize that beauty is in the eye of the
beholder, but I am having a hard time getting behind the TT coupe. I think
Audi is taking this new styling theme a bit too far. To my untrained eye,
the front end of the TT looks like Deputy Dawg; droopy eyes and everything.
Ok, flame me, but I think Audi's stylists reached their Audi-ness pinnacle
with the A4. I love that chunky, fill-the-wheel-wells, hunkered down look.
The new A6 has grown on me, and I like it, not love it, however, I'm
holding final opinion on that until the S6 arrives. I truly hope flared
fenders and meatier wheels transform the A6 into what it should be: a
screaming German muscle-sedan that causes the short/sensible/bowl-like
hairdo'd, big round eyeglass wearing, middle-aged female secretary driving
the non-descript underpowered American 4 door sedan 5 miles an hour under
the speed limit to get the f'outta the way AND I MEAN NOW!
Excuse me. Testosterone flare.... extinguished.
