Esteemed list,

Help!  I just bought that 89 200q and not twelve hours later, it refuses to
start.  Electricals seem ok, just nothing from the starter, and no clicking of
the relay.
Is there a special hidden switch, engine kill, magic words to recite?  The car
is parked in the street, it's 11 pm, and I'm stuck in the office.  I'm
checking the archives now, but due to the exigent circumstances, I thought you
might forgive me for putting out my plea for help first.
