5kQ Rough Idle, Dies, hard to start..

Thought I would pass on a fix.
My 87 5KQ had arough idle at times, would stall out & then be hard to start.
What I found was a Soft spot on the 3-way ISV hose that set on the Value cover.
It had a small hole underneath & was rotton.  A quick fix was sticking plato
into this soft spot but over a short time it would get hot & be sucked in by
the vacum.  Found a used 3-way hose at the salvage for a couple of bucks &
it was fixed.
Put your finger underneath this 3-way ISV hose & check to see if it is soft
to the touch.
