4000rpm hesitation + goo

the two other ribs and will test it tomorrow.  Nothing to lose!  Has anyone
tried this as a short term or long term solution?  Any lucK?

     I've got duct tape around the i/c hose on one of my 5Ks.  (I ALWAYS have
duct tape, never have shoe stuff.)  Put it on as a temporary fix until the new
one arrived.  That was about six months ago.  Been too lazy to peel it off,
plus it's working now.....
     With the Audi i/c hose this seems to work, the incoming air doesn't seem
to get hot enough to melt the glue out of the tape.  On the '85 Volvo 740T
it's a different story though (hose is physically too close to the turbo.)
