It depends on the width of the wheels you're using. As long as you stick
with the stock width of 7" (or even 6") it will work with no problems on a
stock '83. If you're using the 8" Ronals you'll have problems with rubbing
in the rear. At least this has been my experience on my '83. It now sports
215/50ZR15 SP8000s, and when I bought it it had 215/50-15 P7Rs on the 8"
Ronals ...
