Robert, Andrew, Douglas, Michael - 

Thanks very much for the comments on our prospective '89 100Q. We had it
checked by the Auto Critic (highly recommended) and are now aware of the
major (and minor) repairs it will need. The tech. also owns a 4000Q!
The worst items:

Vacuum lines/intake gasket 
Spark Plug wires
Lean Burn 
Slight Leaks in Engine and Xmission

I am going to price out the vacuum hose. if anyone has recomendations
please let me know.  The Tech stated that it is not a good idea to non
oem tubing.  The starter failed on one attempt after doing it about ten
times so we may need a new one.  

It has cool looking slotted rotors that are new!  Can't See the rotors
through the wheels.  Are these more susceptible to warping?   

My fiance and I are considering a move to CA. Does anyone know how these
fair with passing emmissions regulations there?
