... on my car there is a two pin connector for the freq valve buried in the
mass of fuel hoses, vacuum hoses and wiring at the right rear of the engine
compartment. It appears to me that the connector that was used was intended
for larger gage wires than the freq valve uses. I too had a problem where
the freq valve would intermittently stop making noise and the engine idle
would get rough or the engine would die. I found that by wiggling this
connector I could make the thing start and stop ... so I disassembled it and
soldered the wires to the connector pins ...
