BAD NEWS RE: LT-1 Project - Little Q Content

Well the summation of this is definitely "buyer beware!"

After much agony and effort I have found that what I have in my garage is
not what I wanted to buy.  The engine was sold to me as a "95 Camaro LT-1",
what I have is most likely a '93 Caprice L-99 which is a low displacement
(4.3L) and lower horse power engine.  Anyone considering buying a used Chevy
engine, get your facts straight before laying out cash.  This one looked,
and weighed just like a real LT-1.  Only the Chevy Customer Assistance
Center was able to sort out what the engine really was.

What  tipped me off?  Well when trying to order parts I have the ECU
identified and it was for an engine from the '93 model year!

So once again I will be on the prowl for a REAL LT-1 engine.
