collapsible roof rack?

I know it's cheesy of me to turn to the list when a little research
would probably answer my question, but heck, someone in this greasy ole
virtual garage is bound to know the answer...

I'm looking for some roof racks that, as the subject might hint at, will
fold up so I can always have them with me.  Had to tie a window ("free"
- my favorite price!) on the roof of the coupe the other day with only a
blanket for protection...

Something lightweight, simple, and perhaps cheap as well?
