Good service. Sometimes you get surprised....

Well, I'm going to take offense at this. After buying my '95 A6QW,
I have come to the conclusion that Audi does not give a DAMN about
anyone except that first 3-year leaseholder. They are doing everything
in their power to prevent anyone from doing even the most trivial
maintenance on their car.
Example: you *CANNOT* turn off the oil change reminder unless you go
to the dealer to plug in the VW 1551 computer and reset it. So much
for changing your own oil; for the next 10 years, that "OIL" reminder
will be flashing at me. They don't even tell you oil capacity, spark
plug type, or ANYTHING about the car in the owner's manual. The
"do-it-yourself" section is pretty much gone.
Thank god my foreign parts place knows these cars pretty well.
Sorry, but this has become so much of a pet peeve of mine that I am
thinking about writing a letter to Audi.
