Bra Stuff

About the bra on a newly painted car - 

1)  I HATE bras.  They have no functions other than to "pimp" up a 
car and to abrade paint.

2)  I don't think they do anything to prevent paint chips that you 
can't do by following at safe distances (Fair disclosure: the 
chips I have attest to the fact that I don't follow my own advice..)

3)  I once put a bra on a Datsun 240Z which had bene painted a few 
weeks before.  The first time it got damp and I left it on the car a 
day, it bubbled the paint right off the hood where it covered it.  
Cost me a re-paint on the hood.

No matter what the provocation, I cannot recomment using a bra on a 
car which has been repainted in the previous 90-120 days.
