    Wow, these oil consumptions are incredible. My '91 200q uses 1/2 litre
every 8000 km at 250k km on the car. The oil is dark amber at oil change
(8000 km), not jet black like my North American vehicles. My '86 5kcstq was
the same; it used no oil at 180k km and the oil did not come out black
either. I've always been impressed with Audi's low oil usage and the
cleanliness of the oil; I put it down to good piston sealing and oil
control. I always thought 800 miles per quart of oil was rebuild time!
