Post tune-up blues
This week tuned up the CGT and the 100, (new caps, rotors, plugs, oil and
filters). The CGT has been starting harder recently, and I wasn't sure this
would help that situation. I was right. The coupe has been acting as though
the cold start circuit was not working, (cold blooded symptoms). I have a
spare cold start valve and had tried that to no avail already. Thought I would
try to "clean" the ISV as per list advise. That really set things in motion,
(wrong direction). After reinstalling ISV, the car wouldn't idle at all. Found
vacuum leak, and now idles poorly. Rechecked for vac leaks with ether, non
found. Blipping throttle with primary butterfly seems "dull". Blipping with
secondary butterfly is very "crisp", as I would like primary to be. Removing
oil filler cap has no affect on running. Any ideas?
The 100 also decided to give me something to think about. Recently replaced
the temp sender, and cured inoperative temp gauge, and partial throttle
pinging and lack of power. Now suddenly the temp gauge stopped working again,
and the partial throttle bogging and pinging are _baaack_. What the___?
I don't love to hate em, I hate to love em!
Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Would even try to buy you a beer at
the Sheraton on the 3rd if possible. TIA

What'd I do to deserve this all at once? At this moment, I know why people buy
Hondas.
