Last night, went out with this girl right after work. Picked her up at her
house...I had a
cassette playing in the VW demo. I can't remember what she said, but it
prompted me to ramble off about this 86 944T that we took in on trade the
other day. Off I go about this gorgeous car, 53K miles, White with White
Fuch Alloys, Ivory Leather...blah...blah... and what I could buy it for.
Instant dreaming until she interrupts with... "NO!! I ASKED YOU WHO THIS
BAND!!!". Then she turned up the volume.
She makes her points subtle but clear I think.
BTW... just so you guys don't think I'm spamming the list... I can mention
the car now because it's no longer available. I sold the car today over the
phone to a woman in New Hampshire. She's buying it for her husband as a
surprise gift for Father's day. Why can't I seem to meet women like that!!
(No offense intended to Dee or any lurkers).
