No, the '94-'98 cabrio is based on the beautiful Coupe Quattro that was based
on the 80/90 platform(model years '88-'95 in USA).  THe new cabrio that is
coming out in '00 or '01, will be based on the A4.  So, I am hoping that if
they make a cabrio A4, they will also make a 2 door Coupe A4.  And of course
the new TT Spyder is based on the Audi A3/VW Beetle platform.  So many great
new Audis in the pipeline for USA, I can't wait!
