The latest Automobile mag has a comparo and mentions the new 
features in the V1.  Though it is written by Craig Peterson,
whose dubious writings have been much criticized, the numbers
are very interesting, especially the performance around a curve,
which blows away all others tested.

Someone on the BMW digest asked if the upgrades were free.
Nope.  In fact, it's cheaper to sell your old one and buy a new
unit.

If anyone is thinking of doing this (selling your old one)
please let me know, as I have a couple of people interested
in buying them.  I may do this myself as my unit is a couple
of revs behind the current one.
