Don't underestimate the 140/240 series!  Despite a seemingly inferior 
suspension, they seemed to do pretty well on the track against
BMW 3-series.  My last one was an '83 Turbo Coupe (4sp/od)
which I "helped" with a water-jacketed turbo and intercooler
from a 740.  Added an S-knob and played with Mustangs!

But God help you if the road was damp when the boost 
came on!
