I've had mine for about 2 weeks and I think it's great.  I'm coming from an
older Passport(one of the old metal ones, not the new crappy ones) and the
V1 is much more sensitive.  I live near Boston and the V1 has rudely
awakened me to the presence of both Ka band radar and laser.  I didn't
think either was in use around here nor did my old Passport pick them up.

I did get lasered once and the cop didn't pull me over though I was
speeding.  I was probably going < 10mph over the limit so this is less than
conclusive.  The V1 did pick it up though.

I completely agree.  My girlfriend first said "You spent $400 on that?!?"
but after seeing it in action I think she's convinced.
