I don't have one to offer, but can I have your old spring?  The
"breakaway" 
tensioning one?  Or anyone's?

My mirror flaps in the breeze when I'm driving, and it's understandably 
annoying.

Actually, I might have a spring around, but I'm not sure where, or how
to 
get it in without really busting it up.  Any BTDT's?
