There are virtually no differences in looks through the years of the V8s
except that the "disk" (aka late model 44/early model C4) wheels were
replaced by "mesh" (aka 91 200Q) ones in 1992.

Every time I see a V8 I'm truly amazed at how good the Audi designers were
at making the 44 chassis look so much bigger and more luxurious. The wide
fender flares, lowered suspension and the said grill makes the V8 look
wider, longer and sleeker than 100/200s.
The V8 has been my dream car since I learned about it's existence. They
used to be quite cheap over here (like $10k for '92), cause most people
looking for a luxury car preferred some "status symbols" like Benz or
Bimmer, but now I can see that V8s are getting much more expensive, which
means no V8 for me in the near future :-(((
