IHI Turbos

After looking at the VW turbocharger web page at www.newdimensions.com that
were developed initially by Calloway, I noticed that he still likes those
IHI turbos; my dad's 944 Calloway had a IHI turbo as well.  Supposedly,
they make some of the best turbochargers in the industry.

Out of curiously, has anyone tried(retrofitted) an IHI into an Audi
turbo(besides the 4k conversion kit, obviously) ?  There's always talk
about the famous "RS2" turbocharger, but nothing ever about other turbos.
