Hi Y'all,

I'm sending this just in case there may be someone around who doesn't know
about the Pike's Peak Hillclimb event and the plans to travel there for
July 4.

About 40 list members (and most of their Audis) plan to convoy to Colorado
Springs from all directions and to attend the 76th running of the Hillclimb
event.  Special parking arrangements have been made with an Audi corral
roped off at the 13,000 foot level on the mountain.  This is a particularly
big advantage.  You will see why when you get there.  

Part of the convoy will be leaving the NE region about June 30.  It is
timed to arrive at the foot of the mountain on July 3.  Easterners will
gather at Louisville for the night of July 1, travel on to St Louis about
midday of July 2 for lunch with the St Louis group and to pick up a
straggler or two and then on to Kansas City for the night of July 2.  July
3 will be spent running across Kansas and part of Colorado.

A track day has been arranged for July 5.

BTW, last year's event was a blast!
