My rear callipers have 62K miles on them and I will be pulling

ass it.
I have rebuilt plenty of fixed callipers without parking brake
functionality.

Vain, yeah. But they look so good on the Tornado Red 200, visible
through the 16x75" MOMO Ferraris with the red five-pointed
inserts.
:-)
I am assuming that the majority of the work on the rear floating
calliper with the parking brake will be fairly straightforward.

Yes. I've done several, no problem.
I already have the rebuild kit which consists of new piston
seals,
dust boots, and a special lubricant that the seals need to be
soaked in for 45 minutes prior to installation.

I always use regular fresh brake fluid for seal/boot lubrication.
Do I need compressed air to get the piston out of the calliper?
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
No.
Or can I use the tool that is normally used to push (& turn) the
piston back into the calliper body to pull it all the way out?
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Yes.
Besides this is there anything in particular I should be watching
out for?

Clean the central spiral rod and the respective spiral piston
channel.
