RE: question about 17 inch tire sizes on a 4kq
205/40/17 without rolling. Caveat here though: make sure the wheel is 35mm
for a 7" and 42 for a 7.5". Also the tire needs to not have a square contact
patch or it will rub. Squarelli's tend to have wide patches. With rolling
you could probably do a 215/35/17 if you could find a tire. Having driven
Petes car with the 17's I must say that it is not something you would want to
drive back and forth to work. Very rough. Also can be damaged easily. He
already has bent a wheel and blown a tire on a rock about the size of a
golfball!!!!

hey all, what would be the correct size tire for an upgrade to 17 inch
wheels on an 85 4kq?
im doing the coilover setup and such, so lemme know, with rolling the
sizes and without rolling, the sizes...thanks
