Re: 89 octane OK in 2.8L V6?



I would use at least 91 octane if you're going to use it on a regular
basis, just because it says to.  I guess they had a reason...the engine
gets pretty hot here in the summer and I think that the 89 might not be
able to cut it for really hot temps...when you tried it, how hot did the
engine get?
