Stabilant22 alternative?

While cruizing the parts shops for Stabilant (several chains listed on 
Stabilant web site), I pondered rear defroster trace repair liquid.  
Would this be able to restore the connection in my dash without just 
breaking again later?  Forgive me, I'm an ME, not an EE, and certainly 
no rocket scientist.
