A4 / S6 airbag igniter reel?

Hello All,

I am currently attempting to mount an A4 sport steering (part number 4AO
124A) in my '93 S4. I have done one test fit and luckily the splines are
still the same size. However, the airbag igniter reel, cancel ring, wire
reel, horn ring (whatever you would like to call it) from my S4 did not fit
correctly. I am looking to see if anyone has the igniter reel from an A4
with sport steering wheel, part number 4 D0 951 543 D. If you do please let
me know.

Also it seems as if the wheel and the igniter ring are materially the same
between the A4 sport version and the S6 wheel. Does this jive with anyone
else's research? Anyone with the S6 fiche, are the part numbers the same?

Many thanks, I'm getting a little tired of just looking at this wheel and
not being able to use it.
