86 4k rough run update

Ok,
    We checked the wiring to the Ignition control, to
the oxs control, swapped the coil, checked the plug wires, changed the
cap,  checked timing, changed fuel distributor, all of the above did
nothing. ( it sure is nice to have tons of parts lying around) Changed
the rotor,...um....well..................it.........well.......... it runs
tons better.
The strange thing is that we put the "bad rotor" in Pat's beater and
it runs fine. Strange.
It still has a small, really small,  miss but I think a tune up
kit will solve that.

Thanks to all that sent suggestions, and to Orin for sending it to the main list. It sure is nice to know that a resource like the list is available to us fools that insist on driving older Audi's.  ;-)
