Help, car won't start after new air filter, filter replacement.

Am I missing something here, never had much of a problem replacing the filter in
my 84 80 q, is the 90 a lot different under the hood? I just unclip the lower
half of the airbox (after removing the hoses into it), *unbolt it from the 
inner wing*, slide it out from the upper half and drop it to the floor. I then 
replace the filter and feed the lower airbox half up into position again. Make 
sure the two rubber things on the bracket that takes the pegs on that side of 
the airbox don't fall out when doing this as the airbox will rattle about if 
you do.
