Germany trip.....Nurburgring....

Derek,

Just before you arrive back in Koln, if you have never been to the
Nurburgring, you should stop by and take a lap around the famous 13+
mile Nordschleif (sp?). You just buy a ticket and then around you
gooooooooo.....you can take the SO and any kids (if applicable) around
this wonderful track ....no helmets required...no insurance waiver to
sign....

To get to the Nurburgring from the Neckarsulm area near Heilbronn, take
Autobahn A6 west, and then take Autobahn A61 north/west towards Koblenz,
take A48 briefly west and head towards the town of Mayen then take (hwy
258 I think) to the Nurburgring. There is a nice castle near the track
to handle the sight seeing requirement... Phil can provide more
details...
