I did.  

I got fed up with the unusable archives months ago (probably half a year
ago), and set up archiving for the quattro list on my web server.  I already
have software that automatically archives my mailing lists, threads them (on
a *monthly* basis), and makes them searchable (see http://list.miata.net for
an example)

But you (Dan) never approved the subscription request when I tried to
subscribe it, even though I sent you a seperate note via email explaining
why I was attempting to subscribe that address.

Not much I can do if you don't want me to archive the list... 1/2 :-)

PS - Dan, don't get me wrong - I appreciate you running the list... I just
wish the archives could be a more generally useful resource.  There's a ton
of knowledge shared here every day.  Well, most days... :-)
