RE: Germany trip.....Nurburgring....
YES!
Trust me. If it were only myself making the sojourn, it would be auto
intensive, 100%. How could we q-listers (note the plug ;-) NOT be ecstatic
with all the stuff around the area? As it stands, I'm very lucky to even
have the chance to get down to Ingolstadt. I'm guessing about a 3.5+ hr
drive from Cologne. Should be really nice for all involved, but Tiff is
questioning the motives...
I have hinted to some here that the vehicle of transportation is yet to be
determined. My understanding is that my chum's father is somewhat of an
auto afficionado. Reported owns (has owned recently) an A8, 750il, 993,
S500, and an BMW M1. The chum is driving the std 325 convert. May have to
borrow one of the others. M1 seats 2 only though...correct?
The Ring could be a blast with one of those luxo cruisers. Must be careful
of drunken Brits on Phil's advice tho...

Derek,
Just before you arrive back in Koln, if you have never been to the
Nurburgring, you should stop by and take a lap around the famous 13+
mile Nordschleif (sp?).
