Well, it's still limiting, isn't it? You bring up another point too. Quattro's
only been around since the 80's. Yes, audi has a strong identity tied to
quattro, but Audi has been around a good time longer than quattro. Naming the
site after quattros only limits the time frame as well as the model. 

Just no good reason to limit it, IMO. You can still call the mailing list the
quattro list (I wouldn't change the name/address of that, you'd lose a bunch
of people, shooting yourself in the foot). Dan is looking for a *domain* name,
not a mailing list name (as I understand it). I think Dan, and few others
around here realize there is potentially more to this than the list alone
(commercial site that actually pays for itself via site ads/banners, better
archives, FAQ's, more events, etc).  

This is potentially a larger organization than what we currently have. The
racing background and mechanical competency here is very high. That's a good
backbone to build from. File that in the 'Someday' folder, but today's choices
will help define the future, and IMO it's a better idea to leave all the doors
open in this case. Why close any if you don't have to?
