The injector coolant fan is at the rear, screwed into a piece of sheet
metal, not in the coolant path(it senses underhood temps.)
The after-run sensor is in the coolant stream, hangs upside down, right
near the multifunction one(upside down, front, big connector covered by
large boot, 4 position connector), and has two blade connectors. Shorting
the terminals(NOT to ground, as I discovered!) to each other(ie, with a
screwdriver, will cause the rad. fan and coolant pump(impossible to hear)
to run.
There is nothing to keep the fan(s)/pump from draining the battery if a
sensor gets stuck.
