Well, I had a wild turkey encounter last year (that I reported here); the
turkey had the car in front of me stopped; then it came around that car to
mine; the first car left, and the turkey started strutting, pecking, etc. at
my car, getting "angry" every time I tried to move around it to continue on.
It eventually got distracted and I took off (not literally; well, damn fast,
anyways).  It seemed uninjured; just PO'd.  I figure the first car must of had
a near miss; either that or it was a frustrated male in mating season.  Either
way, I felt sorry for it, and was relieved to see it get off the road behind
me without incident.
