RE: The general population on A4.org

In defense of the core A4.org crowd I have to admit that the recent
derogatory posts have really got me upset also. I am a regular on
A4.org and will continue to be. However, like someone posted...any
body with a modem can link up with forum at A4.org, and post some
ridiculous post like "Audi's suck!". Recently it has gotten bad,
which prompted many of us to email Jason Teller to help get things
back in order. He archived the existing forum and started a new
one with a "rules of the road" post. We are hopeful that the
juvenile posts will be once again gone from the forum. I frankly
miss the occasional A4.org posts from Jouko, Igor Kessel, and other
qlisters. You guys have alot of knowledge, and we appreciate any
help we can get. Yes, someone was correct in their assumption that
alot of A4.org visitors are young, first time Audi buyers, and with
that you get alot of posturing and not thought out posts. By and
large there are alot of well behaved very knowledgeable posters to
A4.org. Please do not judge us by the actions of a few immature
individuals. We also have alot of comradery, with guys like
Jon Linkov, John Walsh/TSR, Jeff Davidson, Sean Griffin, DonP,
Rich Quinlan, Chris Hlubb, I could go on and on....alot of
really good guys that are really into learning about and
improving the performance of their A4s. And just like the
qlist, we have our friends in Sweden (Jonas Karlson),
Australia (Graham Mahoney), and many other places on the planet.

As for Steve Buchholz comments, I am one of those A4 owners he
has talked to...I actually work just down the street from him
in Santa Clara. I do think that many of the A4 owners do not
visit or post on the qlist because they don't feel welcome here.
Just my opinion, and everyone has one. I guess if people would
post responses to our posts, that would be nice?

Anyway, I just wanted to provide another opinion on A4.org...
it seems that the only posts that were happening here were
saying it is a terrible place to visit....and I am here to
say that this is not the case....many of us very much care
about each other and act respectful.
