Keeping the paint job looking great?

Hi all,

This is my first message to the list.  I've been reading the digests since
I decided to buy an Audi about 2 months ago.  On Monday 6/15 I picked up my
new car.  An 1998 A4 2.8 with Black exterior and grey cloth interior.  What
fun!

I really wanted the car in black even though I'm aware that it shows every
little speck of dirt and pollen.  Just means I have to keep it clean.

My question is, trivial though it might be, how often do folks wax their
cars and what kind of wax do you use?
