Stainless steel lines

I have put SS lines on both my Audis and have been very happy. The
immediate advantage, and the reason for the upgrade from my perspective, is
much improved brake pedal feel. The stock brake lines will expand when you
get on the pedal whereas the SS lines provide a much more direct connection
b/w the pedal and the calipers. Result: no more mushy brake pedal
(assuming all else is in order). Pedal is stiff and brake reaction is
immediate and feels more controllable.

The stock lines rob energy from the braking system by expanding. The SS
lines direct all that energy to the proper place. Does this mean better
braking figures? I would guess so...but the "feel" is worth the price of
the upgrade in my book.
