Re: San Diego Audi Fans

Scott,

Hey, thanks for the info! The picnic sounds like fun, and it would be
nice to hang with some people that understand my reasoning for buying the
same make and model used car of this marque! I originally owned a used
& abused, beat-up `82 Coupe. I had grandiose visions of zipping through
snow covered logging trails with Stig Blomqvist, argueing over the
"unfair advantage" at the BTCC with Hans Stuck, and hitting on Michele
Mouton after the Paris-Dakar Rallye. Yeah, I was young and stupid. So,
just as my coupe was about to take her final run, I traded her for $500
(site unseen, thank God) to some scary used car dealership for a really
nice, albiet high mileage, `86 GT. This time I have the resources to
work on her right. Now, all those crazy fantasies are starting up again!

Needless to say, I am a fanatic Audi zealot, and I'll be at that picnic!
