Re: Gates belts and some more belt info, RE: 2.8V6 timing belt
Just a note on the subject of belts.
Aren't the Gates belts a bit more narrow than what the "Audi Parts
People" offer for the alternator? If this is true, this would mean that the
Gates belts drop down in the groove further than the Audi supplied belts
causing the lengthening that you are referring to.
