The Jetta has an unusually huge trunk.  But have you noticed how high
it's "shoulders" are?  a lot of what is in the trunk in a Jetta is
*outside the car* on a 4k... also, yours is a Q, right?  more space
outside the trunk there for the rear axles, diff, etc, big gas tank...
the list goes on.

At least you don't have a Coupe.  The only smaller trunk is on a
Corvette...
