Re: clear caot scratches
To: doyons
Chad,
BTDT. My own experience has to do with coarse brush wielding church charity
carwash thugs. Don't get me started on that... I'll cry... again.
Anyway, my '92 100 was completely etched; top-to-bottom, front-to-back. I
paid an autobody (a good detail shop should be able to do the same job) $75
to compound out the scratches and detail the exterior. Good as new.

Subject: clear caot scratches
Does anyone know how to get minor scratches in clear coats? Is
there some kind of chemical for this? How about wet sanding? My
uncle
keeps hounding me to get them out for him, but I don't want to make it
even worse.
Thanks,
Chad
